Alan Pardew Biography.



His full name is Alan Scott Pardew, he is an, English former football player and current manager of Newcastle United. Pardew was born in July 18, 1961.
Pardew achieved the FA Cup final twice with Crystal Palace in 1990 as a player , and as manager with West Ham United in 2006 but he lost through two times.
Alan Pardew won the Primer League Manager of the season and also LMA Manager of the year awards for 2011-2012 seasons.

Playing career of Alan Pardew:

Crystal Palace:
Alan Pardew signed with Cristal Palace of the Second Division in 1987. After two years in 1989 the team promoted to the first Division by beating Blackburn Rovers in the play-offs. In the next year he scored the winning goal in the extra time against Liverpool in FA Cup semi-final, and the match ended by 4-3. He played the final, but they lost in front of Manchester United.
After that he moved to Charlton Athletic in 1991, Pardew was top soccer of Charlton in the 1992-1993 seasons. After that he appeared in 4 games with Tottenham Hotspur in 1995.

International career:
Alan Pardew was a player in the English-semi-professional squad. 

Managerial career of Alan Pardew:


Reading:
He took his experience as caretaker of the team after the departure of Bullivant in 1998, he saved it from relegation and they in the next year achieved automatic promotion to Division one. Alan Pardew finished his new higher division in the 4th place.

West Ham United:
West Ham asked Reading for appointing Pardew their coach but Reading refused their order, so Pardew resorted to resign from reading in 2003-2004 seasons.
The first season of West Ham with Pardew ended in playoff final defeat by Crystal Palace. In the next season 2004-2005 he led West Ham to promote to the primer league by defeating Preston North in Playoff-final.
In 2005-2006 he guided them to the 9th place of the primer league, and they played the final of the FA Cup but they lost in front of Liverpool in the penalty Shoots.
2006-2007 seasons were bad for Alan Pardew, where they exit from the UEFA cup in front of Palermo. And after the many of loses. Pardew was sacked by West Ham on December 11, 2006.

Charlton Athletic:
He signed with Charlton Athletic a contract for three years and half, he led them to the 19th place in the primer league in 2006. They were the lowest in the league. But the team relegated from the primer league. And Pardew parted company with Charlton by mutual consent in November 22, 2008.

Southampton:
Southampton signed with Alan Pardew on July 17, 2009. So he led his new team to the 2010 Football League Trophy Final after the win over Carlisle United 4-1. Pardew was sacked after five months by the team according to low staff morale and his conflicts with the chairman of the club Nicola Cortese.

Newcastle United:
Pardew signed with Newcastle a contract for five years and half on December 6, 2010. Pardew led Newcastle to win over Liverpool 3-1 in his first match with his new team.  So they finish the primer league in the 12th place.
In the 2012 season Pardew won the Primer League Manager of the season award according to his achievements with Newcastle where he led them to book a place in the UEFA Cup for the next year, and he won personally the league Managers Association Manager of the year.
